THE AT/WAS BOARD

 

SAMUEL A. MORRIS (Artistic Director) is a sophomore at NYU studying Theatre Management and Producing. He has served as director on the company’s successful inaugural production of 4 @ 8 in addition to the company’s most recent production, Soliloquy. His NYC producing credits include Company, Neil Simon’s Rumors and Cemetery of Lips (which appeared in the 2005 New York Fringe Festival), and this April, Samuel will be producing One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Additionally, Samuel recently finished a full-length play entitled It’s About Time, which will be receiving a staged reading this coming May. He currently works in the Education Departments of the Broadway shows Chicago, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Rent. His roots however are in performance, and his credits include principal roles in Les Miserables, South Pacific, Oliver, Guys and Dolls, City of Angles, and West Side Story, in addition to performing at Carnegie Hall.

CHELSEA GLICKFIELD (Executive Producer) currently works for the Roundabout Theatre Company after graduating last May from New York University with a degree in Dramatic Literature & Theatre History with an Arts Administration Certificate. While in school, she directed and choreographed A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Pippin for the student-run theatre company, Shmutz. She has choreographed West Side Story and Assistant Choreographed Carousel and Bye, Bye, Birdie for in her hometown of Middletown, Ohio. On stage, she’s been seen in as Lucy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, and Sally in Snoopy!!!. She is thrilled to be on the board for the AT/WAS Theatre Company and looks forward to working with Samuel A. Morris and Nicole Grillos for years to come.

NICOLE GRILLOS (Associate Artistic Director) Nicole Grillos is an actress currently studying at Stonestreet Film and TV Studios.  She has performed off-off-Broadway in Neil Simon's Rumors and continues to be involved with NYU productions such as Pippin (Fastrada), Boy Gets Girl (Theresa), and Sondheim's Company (Marta). She has also played a dead girl on "Law and Order: SVU."
